The Early Galilean Ministry, a period of about four months, covers the period from his rejection at Nazareth
to the Sermon on the Mount and involves four journeys:

1. From Cana to Nazareth, then moved to Capernaum
2. From Capernaum through eastern Galilee and return
3. From Capernaum to Jerusalem and return
4. From Capernaum to the mountain* and return

*Possibly Kum Hattin, "the horns of Hattin," a mountain with a double peak, a few miles from the Sea of Galilee.
